The International Hockey Federation (FIH) can now confirm the nominations received by the deadline of 15 August 2026 by 23:59 Swiss time (CEST) for the following positions of Executive Board (EB) ordinary member to be elected at the 50th FIH Statutory Congress on 24 October 2026, in Doha, Qatar:
- Female Members (3 positions):
- Chuenchanok Nin Siriwat (THA)
- Hazel Kennedy (ZAM)
- Brenda Lucía Cáceres Mendia (GUA)
- Male Members (3 positions):
- Hiroya Anzai (JPN)
- Walter Kapounek (AUT)
- Erik Klein Nagelvoort (NED)
- Deon James Morgan (RSA)
The available positions include 4-year terms for two female and two male ordinary members, as well as 2-year terms for one female and one male ordinary member as per Article 7.4 (b) of the FIH Statutes.
- In accordance with the FIH Regulations, the nominations will now be submitted to the FIH Elections Oversight Panel (EOP) for assessment. The aim of the EOP is to ensure that the FIH elections are carried out in a fair and transparent manner consistent with the FIH Statutes, Integrity Code, Elections Manual and General Regulations. Any nomination has to be approved by the EOP before being validated.
