Endorsing the strategic direction of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) towards 2032, the 146th IOC Session in Lausanne, Switzerland, today made the IOC and the Olympic Movement “Fit for the Future”. With their support for the strategy proposed by IOC President Kirsty Coventry, the IOC Members laid the foundation that will allow the IOC and the Olympic Movement to remain strong, relevant and impactful in the years to come.

The International Hockey Federation (FIH) is delighted to celebrate the spectacular success of the hockey tournament at the Dutch Special Olympics National Games 2026. Staged on 13-14 June at HC Bloemendaal, the event served as a monumental testament to the global growth and inclusive nature of our sport, bringing together a phenomenal 32 teams and 277 athletes with intellectual disabilities or autism for two days of elite, inclusive competition.
