Hockey’s athletes, fans, the media and our stakeholders are increasingly and rightly focused on the
sustainability of hockey. On November 4th, 2022, during the FIH Congress, we launched the “Sustainability
Strategy
for Hockey”, a collective plan for the entire global hockey community to focus our efforts and energy on
projects
that align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, that will help to grow hockey around the world in a
sustainable way. The strategy covers all of the 3 major aspects of Sustainability according to the UN and IOC
–
People, Planet and Prosperity – that will build a healthy long term future for the sport.
For further details please refer to the FIH Sustainability Strategy for Hockey, and view the video of the
presentation made during the FIH workshop day prior to the FIH Congress, held on November 4th, 2022
