The overall aim of the Rules Committee is to assist FIH in the following ways in relation to all sanctioned forms of hockey to manage the current rules (interpretation, application, development), to make the game more easier to understand and enjoyable, to co-ordinate the collection of match and tournament statistics related to Rules and to contribute to the development of the game (equipment, player welfare).
