The quadrennial international men’s hockey competition is organized by the Asian Hockey Federation and it is the most prestigious continental championships. The winner of this tournament qualifies for the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup, making it an important fixture in the Asian calendar. This will be the 12th edition of the tournament which will be held in Rajgir, Bihar from 29th August to 7th September. South Korea are the defending champions and interestingly, they have won the most titles with five while India and Pakistan have both won the tournament three times.
