Scottish Hockey Union: Scotland men's captain, Mike Leonard, has been passed fit for the European Championships in Leipzig, Germany this week.

Leonard had been in doubt for Leipzig after he was hit in the face during a penalty corner routine, sustaining a serious injury to his cheekbone. The injury occurred during the squad's recent series of matches against Wales in Manchester.

The Scots play their first match against the host nation on Sunday 28 August at 15:30 local time. The match will be broadcast live on Eurosport 2 (16:30 GMT).
