Under the vision of FIH President Tayyab Ikram and the FIH Empowerment & Engagement Strategy, the FIH Development Forum brought together 14 Member National Associations to shape the future of hockey through collaboration, innovation, and sustainable development.
Presiding over and chairing the forum, President Ikram reaffirmed FIH’s commitment to empowering its Member National Associations by strengthening hockey infrastructure, expanding accessibility, creating more opportunities to play and compete, and delivering tailored development support across all regions.
The forum also featured valuable discussions on hockey pitch development, infrastructure projects, and the continued implementation of initiatives that will drive long-term growth for the sport.
Seif Ahmad, Chairman of the FIH Empowerment & Engagement Committee, joined the discussions, reinforcing the Committee’s commitment to supporting National Associations worldwide.
Following the forum, President Ikram met individually with participating National Associations to discuss their priorities, ongoing development projects, and the next steps to help hockey thrive in every corner of the world.
