GreenFields has many years’ experience in the design and construction of professional water based and sand dressed artificial hockey pitches. Their hockey turf has been designed to comply with FIH global and national classification standards.

As a FIFA and World Rugby Preferred Turf Producer as well as FIH Preferred Supplier, GreenFields artificial grass is used by top clubs around the world and endorsed by many sporting professionals.

GreenFields TX®

The R & D team at GreenFields are dedicated to developing and implementing ground-breaking technologies and environmentally friendly systems. GreenFields TX® was developed for fast-playing modern hockey in close collaboration with Dutch international hockey players to ensure it meets their high requirements for professional play.

With player feedback taken into account, the R & D team at GreenFields created a sports turf with incredible player reviews, used by top international players around the world. GreenFields TX® was selected by the KNHB (Dutch Hockey Association) as the official pitch for the 2014 Hockey World Cup and more recently for the 2017 European Hockey Championships.

Our team of engineers and scientists monitor the performance of hockey pitches for many years after installation with their observations used for further product quality and performance refinements.

FIH Approved Products

The FIH periodically reviews and updates the Standards that define the quality levels hockey turfs need to satisfy to become FIH Approved Product. To be an FIH Approved Product a hockey turf must fully comply with the current edition of our Standards (click here for details). Copies of the FIH Certificates of Approval and product test reports may be obtained from the hockey turf manufacturer.
