Jakarta (Indonesia), 20 April 2022: The Hero Asia Cup will be held from 23rd May to 1st June 2022 in Jakarta, Indonesia. This was announced by the Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) today. The Indonesia Hockey Federation (FHI) will be the host of the tournament.

The final dates and match schedule of Hero Asia Cup 2022 have been approved by the International Hockey Federation (FIH).

The 11th edition of the quadrennial event will take place at GBK Sports Complex Hockey Stadium, Jakarta, Indonesia. Host nation Indonesia will be participating in Asia Cup for the first ever time and will go head-to-head with India, Pakistan, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Bangladesh and Oman for the title.

New Delhi (India) headquartered Hero MotoCorp Limited, a global leadership partner of the International Hockey Federation (FIH) and Elite partner of the Asian Hockey Federation (AHF),will be the title sponsor of the tournament. The Company has supported the growth and development of Hockey through its partnership since 2017 with marquee tournaments like Hero Asia Cup 2017, Hero Asian Champions Trophy 2018, Hero Asian Champions Trophy 2021, andnow, Hero Asia Cup 2022.
