The Hockeyroos have started their 2008 campaign in blistering form, dominating their first match of the five test series against Great Britain in Perth with a five goal victory.

Despite Great Britain being ranked as a genuine medal chance at the upcoming Olympic Games, the Hockeyroos totally dominated the match.

Youngster Casey Eastham was the shining light for the Hockeyroos up forward scoring two goals, while fellow forwards Kate Hollywood and Megan Rivers were also focal points throughout the match.

At the other end of the pitch, the Hockeyroos defensive unit lead by Kobie McGurk ensured goal keeper Rachel Imison's night was fairly uneventful as the Olympic keeper was rarely challenged.

The Hockeyroos will again face off against Great Britain this Saturday 16th February in Perth before the remainder of the series moves to Queensland the following week.
