Great Britain programs finalized

Following the invitation to the GB Men to participate in the Champions Trophy in Kuala Lumpur from 29 November ÔÇô 9 December, the initial Great Britain programs for both the men and women have now been finalized. 

GB Men

The men begin their program on 21 October with a trip to Eindhoven for training and a match against the Dutch National Squad, followed by training camps in England prior to their departure for Malaysia on 17 November.  Further training will take place prior to departure for the Olympic Qualifier in Chile in March with the possible inclusion of a trip to South Africa in early January.

As appropriate and, program permitting, players are released from GB duty in order to participate in the Euro Hockey League.

GB Women

GB women will begin their program with two training camps in October.  A large number of athletes will be invited and re-assessed after initial work completed in January this year.  Following these camps, a provisional squad list will be released.  Three training matches against an Australian A touring side will also take place in October.
