The USA women's national team spotted Den Bosch a two goal halftime lead and saw a second half comeback cut short as the USA fell to the Dutch club 4-2 in game two of the team's five game Netherlands tour.

Facing a Den Bosch team that included former International Hockey Federation Player of the Year Mijntje Donners as well as members of the reigning World Champion Netherlands national squad, the USA surrendered two first half goals before Carrie Lingo (Rehoboth Beach, Del.) and Tiffany Snow (Escondido, Calif.) scored the team's first goals of the tour in the second half.

The USA goals were not enough however as Den Bosch added a pair of second half scores to send the USA to its second defeat of the tour.

The USA opened the tour with a 3-0 loss to the Netherlands national squad on Tuesday.

The Den Bosch game marked the return of goalkeeper Jill Dedman (Orange, Conn.) to the USA cage for her first international tour since 2002.

Following a day off, the USA women will continue their Netherlands tour with a match against Amsterdam on 27 April before taking on the Netherlands national team on 1 May. The USA concludes the tour 2 May against the Dutch club Pinoke.

The Netherlands matches continue the USA's preparations for this summer's Pan American Games, 15-29 July in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil as the team will try to earn the continent's automatic berth in the 2008 Olympic Games as the Pan Am champion. The USA will enter the Pan Am competition as the No. 2 seed behind defending champion and world No. 2 ranked Argentina.

Following the Netherlands tour, the USA will travel to Argentina for a four-nation tournament with Canada, Chile and the host country 12-29 May in Mendoza before competing at the Champions Challenge in Baku, Azerbaijan with China, England, Korea, New Zealand and host Azerbaijan. The USA women will then compete in the U.S. National Championships, 17-24 June in Virginia Beach. The Pan Am Games team will be named following the National Championships.
