The fourth episode of the Women Who Thrive’ series features former Australian hockey player and former Hockeyroos coach, Katrina Powell.

In this enthralling video, the double Olympic champion (1996 and 2000) and World Cup winner (1998) talks about hockey becoming a true passion from her earliest years, the support she received from her family, her desire to see more women participate at every level of the game, and her stance on body positivity.

The short film is available on FIH’s streaming platform Watch.Hockey along the three previous episodes:

The International Hockey Federation (FIH) launched the ‘Women Who Thrive’ series in July 2025, celebrating the historical and ongoing impact of women in the sport of hockey.
