The French senior Men's National Team has published the list of 20 players selected for the next World Cup organized from August 15 to 30, 2026 jointly by Belgium and the Netherlands.

There are few changes compared to the players who participated in the qualifying tournament in Santiago, Chile (March 2026) and the Nations Cup (won by France in South Africa last June). Coach John-John Dohmen is relying on an experienced group, reinforced by some less capped players such as goalkeeper Marius Clément and Florent Vaal, as well as youngsters who featured in the U21 World Cup last December: Aristide Michaelis and Malo Martinache.

Note the injury of Etienne Tynevez, who has not yet fully recovered for this tournament, and the return of Lucas Montecot to the group.

On the club side, while 12 selected players played hockey in the Benelux last season, 8 of them are registered with the leading teams in the French Elite Championship (CA Montrouge, Lille MHC, Polo HCM, Racing CF and Saint Germain HC).

As a reminder, Les Bleus will face Belgium, Germany and Malaysia in the group stage matches:

Saturday, August 15th at 9:00 PM Belgium/France Belfius Hockey Arena

Monday, August 17th at 2:00 PM France/Malaysia Belfius Hockey Arena

Wednesday, August 19 at 5:00 PM France/Germany Belfius Hockey Arena

Final phase and ranking matches starting from Friday, August 21st
