Question: How excited are you to play in the #FIHProLeague?
Matias Paredes: Well, it is an amazing competition. We are going to play in our country and we are going to travel for six months. I am really excited to be part of this event. Of course, in Argentina we are going to make it a fiesta for everybody. I am really excited and looking forward for that.
Q: How does it feel to play at home?
MP: Amazing! I am 36 and I think I have played just one event in Argentina. So, it is a great opportunity for friends and family to watch incredible matches.
Q: What do you like the most about the women’s game?
MP: I think the women are really skilful, especially the Argentinian players. In Argentina the sport is very popular, I think it is the first sport for women. People will have an opportunity to see fantastic matches and players and have fun.
Q: Any message for the fans?
MP: Yeah, be prepared to watch incredible matches and have fun, look at amazing players you’ve never seen. It is a great opportunity for Argentina to show our Hockey and bring a lot of children to our sport.
Q: Who is going to win?
MP: I hope Argentina.
