With less than one month remaining until the start of the FIH Hockey Women’s Nations Cup 2026, excitement is building ahead of what promises to be an unforgettable tournament in Auckland, New Zealand, where eight determined teams will compete for glory and the opportunity to secure promotion to the prestigious FIH Hockey Pro League. The tournament will take place from 15 to 21 June 2026 in Auckland, one of the world’s most passionate hockey cities.

Returning to New Zealand for a major international women’s hockey event, the Women’s Nations Cup once again brings together some of the strongest nations outside the Pro League, all eager to make their mark on the global stage and take the next step in their international journey.

The 2026 edition features a highly competitive and exciting line-up that features India, Japan, United States and Urugay in Pool A, and Chile, France, Korea and New Zealand in Pool B. With a blend of experienced international contenders with Pro League experience and rising challengers looking for their first taste of the 'League of the Best', fans can expect fast-paced, high-quality hockey throughout the week.

The opening fixture will see India take on USA in Pool A action, followed by Japan taking on Uruguay. Pool B matches of Chile vs France and New Zealand vs Korea will close out the opening day.

The tournament will culminate in the final on 21 June, where one team will lift the trophy and strengthen its claim for a coveted place in the FIH Hockey Pro League.
